Greek Mythology My Beloved

When we studied greek myths in reading classes over the years, everyone would look to me expectantly. I wore that reputation like a badge of honor, honestly, always in love with the fascinating stories of gods and men and monsters.

My Bookshelf

I was in third grade when I got my first book on Greek Mythology. It was already a little old, but my teacher gave it to me because he knew I liked Percy Jackson and thought I would find it interesting: he was right.

Over time I wore this book down even further, but now I treat it with delicate reverence with its tattered cover and barely-there binding.

I realize I still need to read this book. Yikes.

When I tell you this book was FORMATIVE for me.

I read this religiously for years, and adore the artwork to this day.

This book was one I got later into my time with myhtology, and though it covers mostly basics the narration style (Percy being sassy) made it a very refreshing and enjoyable read.
