I was in third grade when I got my first book on Greek Mythology. It was already a little old, but my teacher gave it to me because he knew I liked Percy Jackson and thought I would find it interesting: he was right.
Over time I wore this book down even further, but now I treat it with delicate reverence with its tattered cover and barely-there binding.
