Calypso Fiyere

QUICK DESCRIPTION

A short human woman with messy red hair and light blue clothes that flow with her powers to control the wind. An (un)fortunate side affect of controlling the wind is that she can hear anything and everything, so she usually filters it by only listening to those who say her full name. As a result, she prefers to be called Calle.

Her eyes glow when she uses her power or gets incredibly emotional (any kind of emotion tbh, but most prominent when she's furious).

Calypso says hello, and to please, call her Calle.

Calypso has reached her limit. Three strikes, in swift and intense succession.

Calypso, upon hearing gossip through her wind powers, immediately tells Taylor.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Height: 5'3 on a good day

Build: somewhat stocky

Hair: auburn red curly hair, down to mid back when not in buns

Eyes: wide light blue eyes with long lashes

Skin: lightskinned, but tans instead of burns

She is constantly bouncing, shifting and fidgeting.

RELATIONSHIPS

Friends from middle school. Loads of lore of before they got to where they are now, but right now they are Besties. They are the most gossipy motherfuckers if left alone, they know everything about everyone and that can be either really helpful or fucking terrifying.

Taylor taught her the science behind her powers so she has even greater control over it, and she makes sure he doesn't trap himself in time loops for thirty years again trying to make sure that none of them get injured ever, at all. It's a good system.

Her energy and his steady persistence means they are an unstoppable force and immovable object trapping their problems between them until they're crushed.

Started as online friends, and then homestuck progression of "oh you're an alien!!!! sick >:)" and they became even closer friends. Dated for a while, but that's a whole other storyline with that.

They are also Besties, but in a different way than Calle and Taylor are. Calle and Xaiter are the "oh dear gods who left them unsupervised" besties. They create all kinds of lighthearted chaos and tend to be very mischevious. His tech skills and general handiness mixed with her unlimited support results in a multitude of silly inventions, "home-alone" schemes (deadliness varies), and widespread strange/confusing occurrences.

They are constantly hanging off of each other and fueling the other's activities.

Little sister!!!!! Calle has a good deal of Trauma from before they were all gods when she couldn't save Jessie (ouch) but has been working past being super protective of her.

Jessica is also very enabling of Calle's habit of adopting friends into family, and generally enables by being like "I will not be in this area for 30 minutes so I really hope nothing HAPPENS here" in a very Professor McGonagall way.

Calle loves her sister so much and knows that the feeling is mutual and that they show it differently. She loves talking to her and reading what Jessie has written. She is incredibly proud of everything her prodigy sister has achieved and will brag at the drop of a hat.

Fun Facts

She originated as a Homestuck OC, a Seer of Breath, which is where her windy powers came from.
She is functionally immortal, which means that unless she is outright killed, she will live. She does still experience pain, hunger and thirst though.
